What is Biotransenergetics?
Biotransenergetics is a psycho-spiritual discipline that promotes the full expression of one’s intimate nature or spiritual essence by nurturing the intrinsic human potentials.
It finds its roots in the "primary tradition", which is fruit of the human being’s primordial yearning for understanding nature and harmonizing with it. This gave birth to shamanism, the very first "religions of nature", which are amoral and ecstatic and believe in a "fundamental unity of creation".
Biotransenergetics is characterized by two founding elements, namely the concepts of contact and transe. On the one hand, being in "contact" with one’s own essence means being able to grasp the fundamental unity of the creation that resides within oneself. We reach that contact when we learn to "stay" in front of ourselves instead of leaving. "To stay,” means to develop qualities such as the abilities of observation, listening, and acceptance. It means developing one’s capacity of firmness, intent, awareness and responsibility. It is only in this way that we can recognize the stream of forces that live inside ourselves.
On the other hand, transe means to actually become the force, rather than to oppose it. It means developing qualities such as humility, sympathy, reliance and love towards any manifestation of living beings.
When we master the transe, we can "make one from two", which means creating the condition to overcome any conflict, which is just the contraposition between two opposite forces. When we master the transe, we become able to transform any enemy into an ally, any symptom into a message, any force into our own force.
By mastering these concepts, we can get to know the forces of the elements, such as earth, water, air, fire, and then harmonize with them. Moreover, we can consider every event, such as an emotion or a wish, an obsessing thought or a guardian angel, as an entity which is possible to enter in transe with. Finally, when we master the transe, we can find our place within the forest and the ocean, among the animals and the stones, the waterfalls and the moon, and live all these things as a manifestation of God.
